What Is Filecloud Desktop?

Filecloud Desktop is a simplified means of accessing and managing the contents of your Filecloud space through the familiar interface of your personal computer. It allows you to "drag and drop" files and folders to and from Filecloud without having to use a web browser.

The essence of Filecloud Desktop shines brightest when you want to upload or move multiple files at the same time. For example you can upload a folder of folders of images and movies all at once - and Filecloud still creates all of the image thumbnails for you!

Is It Free?

Filecloud Desktop is free for all users. But as you can imagine, it's a lot more fun to have 500 MB of storage connected to your PC than it is to have only 25 MB, so the biggest benefits are only seen by Premium subscribers.

However, Filecloud Desktop is not free for us (the dudes running the site). Gathering your feedback, developing the service, and extensively testing everything is the result of many hours of hard work - and the core reason for everything we do is to attract more subscribers so that we can grow the site and make more features like this one. If you use Filecloud regularly and appreciate its service to your internet lifestyle, we ask you to support us by going Premium.

Connecting is easy, follow these steps:

Go to My Network Places
Add Network Place
Specify the address...
http://desktop.filecloud.com
Enter your login and password
Set your default file restriction
Voila!
