Go to \u201cMisc\u201d and grant \u201cAllow Manage\u201d option:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31516\" src=\"https:\/\/www.filecloud.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Manage-Team-Folders-JPG6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"456\"><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"User-based_management_of_permissions_from_the_Front-End_UI\"><\/span>User-based management of permissions from the Front-End UI.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When our user now logs into the Front-End UI and then navigates to the Finance Team Folder, they will now see a \u201cSecurity\u201d tab in the sidebar on the right:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31519\" src=\"https:\/\/www.filecloud.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Manage-Team-Folders-JPG7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"456\"><\/p>\n<p>Since the Finance Group is already part of the Team Folder, the Team Folder manager can now change permissions for the rest of the team for a folder or a file.<\/p>\n<p>For example, suppose the manager wants a specific member from the Finance group to have read-only access to the \u201cTest Folder 2\u201d. In that case, this user\u2019s permissions can be edited by selecting \u201cTest Folder 2\u201d. Then click the \u201cManage Security\u201d button in the \u201cSecurity\u201d tab.<\/p>\n<p>The manager would then see the following screen:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.filecloud.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Manage-Team-Folders-JPG8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"456\"><\/p>\n<p>From here, the manager can add users and edit permissions; for example, we will grant read-only permissions to a user:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-31537 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.filecloud.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Manage-Team-Folders-JPG9-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"456\"><\/p>\n<p>This permissions update can be verified by going to the \u201cCheck Access\u201d Tab and \u201cCheck user access\u201d for the email account of the user.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31528\" src=\"https:\/\/www.filecloud.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Manage-Team-Folders-JPG10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"456\"><\/p>\n<p>Through this feature, admins can delegate Team Folder \u201cManage\u201d permissions to managers.
