Any file that you add to an AirSend channel is shared with all members of the channel. In addition, you cannot limit access to files; all channel members can view, edit, and download any file in the channel.

There are several ways that you can add files in an AirSend channel. Which method you use depends on the scenario.

  • If you are sending a message to a client and want to include a file you are referring to, you can drag and drop the file onto the message.
  • If a channel member is not logged in to AirSend, but wants to add a file to a channel, they can send the file to the channel by Email.
  • If you want to attach files in specific folders in a channel so members can view them later, you can go to the Files section of the right panel and add the files into the folders there.
  • If you want a view of all of your AirSend folders and files as you add new files, you can add Files in AirSend's Files view.

Communicating inside an AirSend channel

You can also go directly to the Files section of AirSend to add and organize files in your channels. This is useful when you have many files or different types of information that you want to store in a folder structure that makes it easy to find certain files.
