iOS Automatic Photo and Video Backup
You can automatically upload photos and videos from your mobile device to FileCloud.
This feature must first be enabled on the server by your administrator.

For Administrators: Enabling Automatic Backup
To enable automatic camera uploads:
- Open a browser window and log in to the admin portal.
- From the left navigation menu, select Settings.
- Click the Endpoint Backup tab.
- Select the Allow Camera Uploads checkbox.
Configure Automatic Camera Backup
To configure camera backup settings:
Log in to the app, and tap the triple-dash icon in the upper left corner, then choose Settings.
The Settings options appear.
By default, Enable media sync is disabled.- Enable it.
Below Enable media sync, the location where you can find your backup files in FileCloud is shown.
Now the pictures and videos you take on your device are automatically backed up to your FileCloud Server.
View Automatic Camera Backup
You can view the progress of an automatic camera backup and the log files for a completed backup in the File Operations window.
To view details of an automatic camera backup:
- Log in to the app, and tap the triple-dash icon in the upper left corner, then choose File Operations.
The File Operations window opens. - Select the Syncs tab if it is not already selected.
The Syncs tab lists recently completed media sync operations and media sync operations in progress. Note that the same tab also shows completed and in progress offline syncs. - To view the log of a recent media sync or the progress of a media sync in progress, click the arrow next to the listing.
