We hope you’re having a great summer! While our is working on exciting features for the upcoming release of FileCloud Version 21.2, we’d like to show you our advanced ransomware protection capabilities. FileCloud’s Breach Intercept features help you handle every phase of a cyberattack: prevention, detection, and recovery. Detection & Proactive Alerts FileCloud’s heuristic engine uses rules to detect any suspicious activity. When FileCloud detects a suspicious file, it stops the upload and sends an alert to the administrator or deletes the file. Granular Permissions Using granular permission, you can build a permission tree to protect your sensitive data. That way, even if a folder is exposed to ransomware via the Drive or Sync clients, the client apps cannot spread the infection to folders with sensitive data. Recovery Backing up and versioning files can ease your recovery from a ransomware attack. FileCloud supports versioning and endpoint backup to help you develop effective anti-ransomware strategies.
Administrators can give FileCloud users “Allow Manage” permission for a Team Folder in the Manage Share window, which gives them the ability to add full users to the Team Folder from the User Portal and view/manage other users’ shares within the Team Folder.
Check out other available sessions on our website. We’ll send a recording to everyone who registers in case you’re unable to attend the live broadcast. We look forward to having you in one of our sessions soon!
