We hope you’re having a great start to your autumn! The FileCloud team has been working hard, and we are excited to announce the release of FileCloud Version 21.2.

With Workflow Automation, an ITAR compliance center, Microsoft Teams integration, and OnlyOffice integration, our 21.2 update is full of helpful features to simplify work. Below are more details on the new release.

Workflow Automation
Users can now build and share custom workflows with our no-code, drag-and-drop interface. Streamline processes like contract reviews, file requests, invoice approvals, and improve performance by automating everything from simple tasks to complex processes.


ITAR Compliance Center
Admins can follow FileCloud’s built-in best practices suggestions to apply any necessary ITAR security and sharing settings. The compliance center also makes it easy to export settings, policy violation reports, and event logs for archival and governance purposes or easy audits and reporting.


Microsoft Teams Integration
This integration lets users add FileCloud as a tab to Microsoft Team’s sidebar menu. Clicking the tab opens FileCloud within Microsoft Teams. It also enables users to share direct links to team or network folder content with Microsoft Teams contacts and easily find files and send share links using the FileCloud extension in the Teams message bar.


OnlyOffice Integration
Those with an OnlyOffice license can now edit and collaborate on OnlyOffice documents, presentations, and spreadsheets directly from FileCloud. Multiple users can simultaneously view and edit a document, and cursors are tagged with a name and color so it’s clear who is doing what.


These are just some highlights from the new release. Other improvements include a new desktop edit client, a standalone file browser, group management capabilities, a better online onboarding experience, private key support for FileCloud Online, and updates to the Smart DLP user interface. Unlimited Workflow Automation and the ITAR Compliance Center is available for FileCloud enterprise customers. Contact us to upgrade or enable this feature if you already have Enterprise edition.
