High-Trust Organizations Require High Security File Sharing
FileCloud is a hyper-secure, enterprise-grade, content collaboration platform that offers a powerful file sharing, sync, and backup solution for highly regulated organizations.
FileCloud is used by millions in government, banking and financial services, education, non-profit, legal, and manufacturing sectors around the world. With innovative and intuitive tools, FileCloud meets industry and government regulatory requirements for security.
Many of these tools come standard with a FileCloud license, whereas other features can be specifically enabled by the admin to respond to an organization’s unique needs and existing infrastructure.
Self-Hosted File Sharing
With the option to self-host, FileCloud can be installed behind corporate firewalls or run by a public cloud IAAS provider like AWS (including AWS GovCloud), Azure, or Google Cloud.
Admins and users can take advantage of flexible, file share security options to control exactly which data is shared, with whom, and for how long. Share links can be set to private or public, along with password-protection, expiration dates, and download limits. Shares can also be revoked at any time.
For organizations that frequently collaborate with end-users, clients, or external partners, FileCloud offers unlimited client accounts. These accounts help ensure secure sharing of files by extending the protections of your FileCloud environment. Client accounts bear no additional cost and won’t run up your licensing requirements.
Antivirus, Malware, and Ransomware Protection
Built-in antivirus scanning ensures files entering the FileCloud environment are clear from threats. You can also integrate with any enterprise anti-virus (e.g., Symantec) that supports ICAP. FileCloud security heuristic engine detects and blocks ransomware or malware. Endpoint backup ensures no data is lost in the event of a breach.
Encryption
FileCloud includes AES 256-bit encryption for data at rest, SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, and FIPS 140-2 certified encryption modules for even greater security enterprise requirements. Encryption is maintained even for multitenancy thanks to unique, client-side encryption keys for each site.
