How do you map a network drive from a remote server?
To access a network drive remotely, open File Explorer on your computer. Right-click Network and then select Map Network Drive from the pop-up menu. Then select a letter to assign to the drive. Insert the location of the remote folder, then specify whether to connect automatically when you sign in.
How do you tell what drives are mapped remotely?
If you are the administrator of the networked drive, you can access the computer registry to find mapped drives. Search for regedit from your Start menu, then select File and Connect Network Registry. Select the remote computer and navigate to the location below to look for mapped drives:

You can access a mapped network drive remotely by typing the IP address of the remote computer in the search bar of your local computer. If the drive is mapped properly and sharing permissions are enabled, a popup showing the shared information opens.
