Why FileCloud?
FileCloud is a hyper-secure Enterprise File Sync and Share (EFSS) solution. When deployed as a file overlay for legacy IT infrastructure or newly deployed cloud storage, FileCloud can provide extensive file collaboration and sharing tools.
One major benefit of using FileCloud is the client apps. These apps are available on desktop and mobile and broadly support file sync and secure remote access to data, without relying on FTP or VPN. FileCloud apps also support monitoring, prevention, and resolution of data leaks to ensure that all data is protected across all connected devices.

How to Integrate FileCloud With Alibaba Cloud
FileCloud officially supports only Amazon S3 storage, but other Amazon S3 compatible storage systems can be integrated with FileCloud through our Amazon S3 drivers. Some of the compatible storage systems are:
- Digital Ocean S3 object storage
- Scality
- Wasabi
- Alibaba Cloud S3 object storage
The integration of these systems, including the Alibaba Cloud platform, depends on their compatibility with the Amazon S3 API. Administrators can easily change the FileCloud storage type after FileCloud has been installed, but it is recommended that any changes to storage take place before any data has been stored.
When changing the storage type from local to Alibaba Cloud object storage, the files and folders already stored in the local storage cannot be automatically moved to S3 storage. In this case, the administrator will need to manually export files and folders from local storage before changing the storage type, and manually import them after changing the storage type. This would enable a smooth cloud migration to the Alibaba server or Alibaba cloud storage.
