Updated Admin Dashboard

We hope you’re staying safe and warm! A major improvement that came with the release of FileCloud Version 21.3 was our updated admin dashboard.

The admin dashboard and login portal were refreshed with a new look and feel, alongside targeted feature upgrades. These upgrades include:

Quick action and alert links at the top of the page for timely notifications and access
Drag-and-drop widgets for better visualization and a more customized experience

Admins can use FileCloud’s new drag-and-drop widgets to prioritize or sort information based on where they place the widget within the panel. Widgets can also be resized or removed entirely and added back at any time.

Additionally, information within the widgets has been optimized to provide more meaningful insights at a glance. For example, “File Type Distribution” and “User Distribution” widgets provide exact numbers when you hover over the pie charts.

File Browser Desktop Client

Have you and your team downloaded the FileCloud File Browser? The File Browser is a desktop client that lets users work in a file explorer format where they can view, share, edit, and delete files in FileCloud. All actions happen in real-time and are reflected in the user portal. Using the File Browser, users can:

Find files quickly without having to enter the FileCloud user portal
Easily download, edit, and share files right from the client
Quickly upload new files and folders to FileCloud
Move, rename, and update the metadata for existing files

And more. Using the Browser provides users a more seamless experience working with FileCloud on their desktops.
